Elder Law can touch upon many topics covered throughout this website. The practice of Elder Law offers families, particularly the elder members within families, to seek assistance for their specific needs. There are many complex issues that face families as they age. We assist clients in using existing estate plans to alleviate practical issues, or explain the options available to navigate the particular issues at hand. We provide advocacy and referral services regarding housing, home care, insurance and Medi-Cal planning.
Ultimately we want to help caregivers who give of themselves on a daily basis. Caregivers walk into our office with a great deal of responsibility. The wieght of this responsibility can be overwhelming, particularly when it is not balanced with support for the caregiver. Additionally, it can be difficult to sort out the predatory elder care professionals from the great resources our community has to offer.
